How large commercial, multi-building and acreage Matterport scans are priced in San Diego County: per sq ft rates, site types, day rates and travel.
Offices, retail, restaurants and other business spaces are scanned for remodels, 3D business tours and floor plans. Project teams use the model to review existing conditions, and E57, CAD and BIM exports feed design software.
Up to 7,500 sq ft, the tiered price list applies ($249 to $649). Above that: $649 + $0.08 per sq ft from 7,501 to 25,000 sq ft, $2,049 + $0.06 per sq ft from 25,001 to 50,000, and $3,549 + $0.05 per sq ft above 50,000. A 10,000 sq ft building is $849 and a 25,000 sq ft building is $2,049. Jobs over 100,000 sq ft or more than 10 buildings still show a price, and Everett confirms scope within 1 business day.
Each extra building is priced on its own square footage at 60% of the base scan price, with a $99 minimum. One recent project type was exterior as-built scanning of several apartment buildings in El Cajon for an architect planning exterior repairs, delivered with E57 point clouds.
Outdoor areas are priced on the area to be scanned, not the whole parcel. The first acre is $249 with an interior scan, or $399 for exterior only. Above one acre, area is rounded up to the next half acre and priced by site type. For acres 1 to 5: open sites (lots, fields, plazas) +$200 per acre, standard sites (buildings, landscaping, walkways) +$400, dense sites (enclosures, fences, trees, slopes) +$800. Above 5 acres the rates drop to $150, $300 and $600.
Very large sites are split into multiple models at $75 per extra model. A day rate of $1,600 per full day or $900 per half day is available for large sites.
Travel is free within 30 driving miles of Poway, then $0.75 per mile round trip for the miles over 30. Big jobs are charged travel for each site day: one per 30,000 sq ft scanned, or per 8 estimated field hours on exterior sites.
